'Wanted' is a remake of the Telugu film 'Pokiri' 2006, an action packed romantic film.
Salman Khan plays the role of local goon, who has been framed as a professional killer, who kills anyone for money.
Salman falls in love with 'Sneha' at the very first sight and 'Sneha' too loves him, but hesitates to confess her love, as he is a reckless criminal.
Sneha is an eyecandy for all local goons including for a corrupted policeman, who troubles Sneha to have an affair with him. Salman wins the heart of 'Sneha' by protecting her from the corrupted policeman.
Though Salman is a goon, he has certain rigid rules and principles, that he follows strictly, which leads for an enmity with another mafia don in the town.
The movie is based on a gang war between two rival gangs of the town. The rest of the story is all about, how he settles score with the mafia don.
